foundry

The manual.

Overview

Foundry launches standard pump.fun coins for founders who passed an identity check. Each coin is cast in a private bundle, so block 0 holds only the create, the founder's locked team allocation and the sniper guard. The coin trades on pump.fun's curve and graduates like any other pump.fun coin.

The five marks stamped on every coin: the founder's initials (identity checked), SEALED (block 0 measured clean on chain), GUARD (the sniper guard's share), LOCK (the team share still locked) and the month it was cast.

Identity checks and privacy

Founders get licensed once per wallet: they submit their legal name, date of birth, a photo of a government ID and two live camera selfies, one following a random instruction so an old photo cannot pass. A person on the Foundry team reviews every submission, usually within 24 hours.

  • ID and selfie images are stored in private storage, seen only by the review team through short-lived links, and deleted 30 days after the decision.
  • Foundry keeps the verdict, the issuing country, and a salted fingerprint of the document. The fingerprint lets one person link up to 3 wallets and makes a ban follow the person to all of them.
  • Your legal name is stored only if you choose to show it. Otherwise holders see your display name and that a checked person is behind the coin.
  • If Foundry bans an identity, every wallet linked to it loses access and its marks show Banned.

The sealed pour

You fill in the coin and pay one transfer into the coin's own vault. Your ticker and name are held for you for 10 minutes while you pay. Foundry then signs one bundle from server-held keys and sends it privately to Jito block engines and Helius, never to the public mempool:

  • Transaction 1: create the coin with the vault as its pump.fun creator, pay the 0.05 SOL cast fee, fund the guard, tip the block engine.
  • Transaction 2: the vault buys your locked team allocation, if you set one.
  • Transaction 3: the guard buys its share of supply.

The bundle lands in one block, in that order, or not at all. The mint address is generated by Foundry and kept sealed until the coin is on chain, so nobody, you included, can arm a sniper for it. After launch the coin page shows every transaction in block 0 and the outside buyers of blocks 1 to 3, measured from the chain. You can also schedule a pour up to 14 days out and announce the time.

The sniper guard

With nobody in block 0, block 1 is where bots go. The guard buys 1%, 2%, 3% of supply (your pick, 2% by default) inside the bundle at the curve's first price, watches the curve every 250 ms and sells the whole bag into the first outside buy. With no buyer within 10 seconds it sells back into the curve anyway. It never holds.

You front the guard's SOL as part of the payment. Right after the pour, its capital and whatever snipers paid it come back to your wallet, together with anything the pour did not spend. Nobody can stop a bot buying in block 1: the guard makes it a losing trade, not an impossible one.

Locking the team allocation

Up to 10% of supply can be bought in block 0 for the team. Those tokens are held by the coin vault, not your wallet, and released to the unlock wallet you choose: a cliff of 0, 7, 30, 90, 180 days, then linear vesting over 0, 30, 90, 180, 365 days. The keeper releases vested tokens automatically. The lock is held in a wallet Foundry controls on your behalf, not a smart contract, and every release is a public transaction listed on the coin page.

Founder curve buys that Foundry builds stop at 10% of supply while the coin is on its curve. You hold your own key, so it is not enforced on chain; the holder check shows what you hold either way.

Fees and splits

  • Cast: 0.05 SOL, once.
  • Trading fees are set by pump.fun and paid by traders.
  • Creator fees go to the coin's vault, are swept every 10 minutes and paid out: 10% to Foundry, the rest across up to five wallets you set at launch.
  • Or pick holder rewards and pump.fun pays creator fees to holders directly. Foundry takes nothing on those coins.

No vamps

Before you sign, the ticker and name are folded to one canonical form: case, spacing, Cyrillic and Greek lookalikes and leetspeak collapse, so $P3PE, $pepe and $PЕPE are one ticker. Names one letter away from another are refused, and the picture is compared by perceptual hash against every coin on Foundry. Anyone can still copy a ticker directly on pump.fun, but those copies carry no casting marks and no licensed founder.

Ranks and cracked marks

A founder's rank climbs with every coin that graduates with a clean record: Apprentice at 0, Journeyman at 1, Smith at 3, Master at 5, Grandmaster at 10.

Holders with at least 0.1% of supply can report a coin once, weighted by their bag. When 5 holders holding 5% of supply between them agree, the coin is flagged and the founder's mark is cracked while any of their last 5 coins carries a flag. Foundry can also ban the identity behind a maker, which covers every wallet they linked.

Refunds

If you do not pay, nothing happens and the hold lapses. If you paid and the bundle does not land after 3 attempts, Foundry waits until every bundle has expired, checks the chain, and sends the vault's full balance back to the wallet that paid. You never get both a refund and a live coin.

What Foundry cannot promise

  • An identity check proves a real, unique person launched the coin. It does not make the project good or the price go up.
  • Foundry holds the keys to every coin vault, so the locks and fee splits depend on Foundry operating honestly. Every movement is on chain and listed on the coin page.
  • pump.fun's own takeover admin can reassign any pump.fun coin's creator fees.
  • The holder check tags the founder, the lock, the guard and the first buyers. A wallet the founder controls with no visible link to them looks like anyone else, so a clean check is evidence, not proof.
  • Foundry is not affiliated with pump.fun.
